Cream of Colcannon Soup
Ingredients:
One Package Bear Creek Cream of Potato Soup
One Cabbage Chopped
3 Garlic Cloves Minced
Tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning
Tablespoon Mrs. Dash or Vegetable Blend Seasoning, (no salt)
Tablespoon Dill
Water to fill the Crock Pot
A Stick of Butter
Optional:
Crisped Bacon Crumble to Garnish
Sliced Fresh Mushroom
Chopped Leeks
Diced Onion
Milk instead of Water
Chicken Stock instead of Water
How to:
Dump Bear Creek Cream of Potato mix into the crock pot. Add Water (or Milk, or Chicken Stock), add minced garlic cloves, (you can carmelize them first in olive oil or butter if you prefer). Add chopped cabbage, and other vegetables (optional mushrooms, leeks, onion). Stir in spices, Montreal Steak Spices, Mrs. Dash, and Dill. Add stick of Butter. Let cook until boiling for 15 minutes or until cabbage is desired softness.
Serve warm with Bacon Crumble to Garnish if desired.
Or Garnish with cracked pepper and some parsley and bread cubed.
