The Decadent Decline of Democracy, Debate Debacle Edition

When a bully like Donald Trump tries to overtalk his opponent during a national debate and the moderator has no control, you know we've slipped off the rails into dangerous territory. The democracy has taken a hit under the Trump administration, not merely the public health administration but all aspects of civil discourse and diplomacy have suffered. This debate is a signpost of an empire on it's way out if it continues in this manner.

That is why a vote for Biden-Harris is critical at this juncture of the crisis. We need science and public health, leadership and diplomacy, steady facts and a lack of fiction and false news media heckling. We need regular press conferences and cordial relations with the globe. We need medical advice and scientific innovation, not hoaxes and false-cures. We need hardscrabble Scranton hard work over 5th Avenue privildege and corruption.

We are voting for a fact over a fib, a truth over a lie, a polite discourse over a name-calling bully. We are in it to win back the soul of our fair republic, and bring back American leadership to the human rights and global discourse. Everything we have stood for is at stake. When the sitting President, Trump, calls on his Proud Boy, Hate Crime group to stand by, you know you've seen the last gasp of a desperate dictator, whose mandate never was secure. When he states he may not step down peacably believe him for his reckless rhetoric. It is time to take the reigns from this trainwreck of an administration and restore leadership into capable hands. Biden-Harris are ready to lead on day one. We need to restore hope to the United States of America. We need a steady course, not a midnight tweet into armageddon.
