Yankee Pot Roast in the Slow Cooker

Ingredients:


One Medium Sized Top of the Round or Bottom of the Round Roast

6 Potatoes, cut and quartered

One Bag of Baby Carrots

Two Onions Diced

Sliced Mushrooms

Chopped Garlic to taste


Onion Soup Package or Gravy Package or Crock Pot Beef Flavoring Packet


8 cups of Water or Beef Broth


Montreal Steak Seasoning


Instructions:

Chop garlic, dice onion, slice mushrooms, quarter the potatoes and layer on bottom of the crock pot with the whole baby carrots, or sliced carrot if you prefer. Season roast with the Montreal steak seasoning, add water or broth and roast to the crock pot add packet of onion soup, gravy, or beef flavoring. Cook on high until boiled, then lower to low and allow to simmer for 6-8 hours.
