Big Dog Daddy's at the Lake Side (in Indian Rocks Community, Open to the Public)

Ledgedale, Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania

Big Dog Daddy's was a great small diner opposite the lake on a scenic area by Indian Rocks near the Ledgedale Campground.   Hot Dogs, Sandwiches, great Breakfasts, and amazing service.  My family and I loved it there. Check out the famous people featured on the wall especially the wrestling friends of the owner and chef.  Their Big Dog Daddy Fest in August for Kidney Donation Awareness and Charities is an excellent event and good cause and a highlight of the season.

The  Newfoundland Hotel (or just "The Hotel" to the locals)

Newfoundland, Pennsylvania

This restaurant/tavern has not been a hotel for decades but you can order your sandwich from their wide menu of offerings by the "room number".  Excellent burgers and great dinners as well.

Glenda the Good Waitress is a character and good at what she does!  She'll always guide you through the menu with good humor and insight.
